My daughter's Room....handpainted Pooh Bear....(photos).




Angela was little when we moved in to our house...about 10 yrs. ago now. Her room was the first to be painted, and I wanted to do something special. Yes, this is me...painting Tigger on the wall.



This is the first wall I painted...I would do the butterflies differently, if I had to do it again. Angela's Pooh lightswich is gone now...



I just love Tigger....and he turned abs out so well....and he was SOOOO hard to paint.



Piglet is next to Tigger....and the watercan is a metalic color. I'm not a fond lover of Piglet.



Eeyore is my all time favorite...and I just Ab Ripper X3 love this one. I don't want any of them painted over, but if we end up doing it, I have to somehow figure out how to preserve this one.



No wall is complete without Roo. And as you notice, this wall sort of p90x 3 deluxe has a garden theme. I should have putted grass under the characters and made it a true scene.



Between the two windows is Pooh and Piglet.



The corner of Angela's room is the tree....and it's also the closet. The tree extends into the ceiling.



And of coarse you have to have Pooh's house, which is in the tree....and it has to have the sign on the door that says Mr. Sander's house....which, honestly, I never understood.



You have to have Owl in the tree...'cause that's where he belongs.



And then there is rabbit sitting and reading a book...have to develope those good reading habits early...LOL

There is a Pooh and Tigger shelf on the wall between Owl and Rabbit that holds Angela's Hallmark Pooh Storybook ornaments.

The ceiling has glow in the dark stars and a moon painted in the clouds. The clouds are visible during the day, while the stars come out at night. This way she could watch the stars and not need a nightlight.

Now that Angela is 11, she wants this room painted over...I don't wanna do it. She may end up switching rooms...and this may become my computer room.
